I was born and raised in Seward, Alaska.  I moved to the UP as a young adult.   I attended University of Portland (Oregon), University of Alaska Anchorage, and St. Norbert college , where I received a BA in education.

I enjoy teaching at BBCS because I can integrate faith and academics and I love the students.
